Okay, so I have the SS22, who is still in college (hopefully his last year) and has a part time job. His girlfriend comes to the house every weekend to live in his room with him. He has two cars, paid for. DH and I pay the insurance (come to think of it, we need to stop doing that). He's a slob. The only thing he does for our home is put his dishes in the dishwasher, and that's because I had fought with DH about that. He does NOT:
take out trash
mow the lawn
feed the dogs
sweep/mop
clean the toilet bowl he pisses all over

I hate my life

I'm really sick of my life. It seems that everyday is a struggle. I can't stand pretending to be happy. I hate that my own children don't live with me. I hate that I spend my money on skids I don't really care about, I hate that my ex kept all my furniture and uses it with his new bimbo girlfriend, I hate that I have so many skills and I don't have the motivation to get a job, I hate that none of my family lives near me, I hate that I have no friends, I hate my live as it is.......

Ugh -- Food Fight? Really?

My bio boys don't live with me and I live with DH and SD16 and SS22.
Two weeks ago SD16 wants fruit. So DH goes a buys her five cans of fruit of which she ate half a can.
Yesterday, SD16 brings cereal and drinks home. I assume from her BM's home. Idk....

So last night, my boys, by some miracle of God, spend the night. Big deal for me.

16 y/o Princess Has Fleas!!!

I can't believe it!!! OMG! Call the SWAT team!!

So we have a flea problem. This has been a bad season for fleas. Our two dogs (one mine, one SD16).
SD16 came to live with us with her dog. She doesn't feed it, let it out, bathe it, talk to it, pet it, look at it ---- NOTHING.

So we had our home treated for fleas. SD16 comes to me 2 days later and says, "My dog still has fleas!" That night she allows her dog to actually sleep with her in her bed. Hmmmmm...why?

She later complains of flea bites on her legs! Duh!!!

Should I Go There With Him?

Should I tell DH he and skids are gross?

SD16 normally burps at the dinner table. Even blows her breath at her father so he can smell it! DH muffles his burps saying, "oh gosh." Never excuse me.

SS22 just walked in the house and let out a huge burp. No excuse or anything. Three minutes later, DH calls and BURPS while we're on the phone! WTF!!?? I said, "your son just walked in and did the same thing." To which he says, "We're gross." And I reply, "Yup." He ended the conversation, obviously annoyed by my agreeing with his statement.

I feel like this site has helped me "talk out" my feelings - valid or not. I don't have close friends, so this forum has become my social life! Depressing, I know.

I am professing to myself that I will not be a victim to my skids anymore. I pay bills, I clean house, I feed them, I take care of the animals, and I am a good person. I know I'm an intelligent woman and, overall, very loving. I also know what's right, reasonable and respectful. I know I don't ask for much as a parent and I know I ask less of my skids than I do from my own bio kids.

DH and I had a bad Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday, I asked SD16 to clean bathroom sink and empty the bathroom trash. I asked SS22 to clean the toilet and scrub the shower stall. Nothing happened; neither of them did it. Wednesday came, DH senses something is wrong with me. Yea, I was pissed because I don't normally ask them to do anything. And I want all of you to know that they are PIGS, by my standards, of course.
