Nope... Hell Didn't Freeze Over.
DH monitored the weather for BM's state this morning at 5 a.m. It stated that travel was severely dangerous, almost impossible with 8 to 10 inches of snow possible. Well guess who is on her way to pick SS up as we speak...
I should have known it was too good to be true, ultimately just another game. BM is going to be spending 8 hours on the road in this blizzard and would rather endanger SS's life than give DH more time.
Now, SS is the one who will be disappointed. He even flushed an ice cube down the toilet last night praying the snow was bad enough to keep him here for the two extra days. Oh well, that one is on BM.

LOL. We have the opposite. BM takes the kids every other weekend. If there is a sprinkle on a Friday she doesn't pick them up til Saturday or she cancels the whole weekend but on Sunday when her day to get rid of them she has driven through a monsoon and a blizzard to get them back here...oh but she asks DH to meet her halfway so my husband has to endanger himself so her and her husband can get back to living their best lives.
Gosh, I wish BM would just
Gosh, I wish BM would just dump SS here sometimes. She never does. She limits parenting time down to the minute. She only offers time that is court ordered, nothing more and DH only gets 57 days of the whole year.... I think the split is 85% BM to 15% DH. DH has fought for years for more time and BM tells the judge a million excuses for why it can't happen. If pick-up time is 3 pm, she will only let SS come out to us at 3 pm or later, not 2:59 or earlier. It's so stupid.

Careful what you wish for cuz BM dumped some god awful feral kids on us. I really truly cant stand any of the 4 of them except the little one who is 12, he is kinda funny at times and treats me with respect. He still a liar, can be obnoxious, and treats DH like crap but doesn't treat me like crap so he is tolerable.

Well... BM arrived on time to pick up SS. SS didn't look to happy to see BM. BM couldn't even look DH in the face.
