Today DH and I were just hanging out. We had the tv on but neither one of us were really watching it, just cleaning house and kind of doing different things.

So one of the more humiliating things about living in Wyoming is that there are masses of "cowboy" posers.

So it's been better dealing with SKs as of late, but I still have my days. My latest is pealing gum out of the new carpet in their room and then turning around to find crayon ground into it.

I still struggle with my relationship with the SKs but it's been a lot better lately. DH has begun to stand up for me, giving me the right to be the adult in my home.

So I have no dignity when it comes to being a nosey internet stalker & I found BM's myspace page. It was awesome.

During the last SK visit, DH & I got in a fight. It was actually kind of a relief because he has finally seen fit to mention that he's noticed we just don't get along when SKs are at the house.

The SKs acted exactly as a predicted. When they got here this evening I was in the shower. DH was in bed & said that all the kids were as well.

I know I've read other posts concerning the issues between SKs & pets, so I hope there are others who can relate.

After this last SK visit DH & I talked about these last few years together. It left me thinking. I feel like i've gone backwards as far as excepting the SKs into my life.

Ugh, I survived the bday party.
